FILM SYNOPSIS: A self-centered realtor enlists the help of his neighbor when he's suddenly left in charge of the granddaughter he never knew existed.

PREVIEW REVIEW: It’s nice to see a film that stars someone well outside their 30s, 40s and even 50s. (For a while I was beginning to think they didn’t exist in Hollywood.) It’s also nice to see a funny look at family relationships, with a positive, upbeat ending. What’s more, it cannot be denied that the leads and the filmmaker know how to extract laughs from true life situations, not just absurd bathroom humor. And as with good comedy, there’s a blend of pathos to give the story dimension.

Alas, in this age when audiences are all too familiar with obscene and profane language, and seeing a dog poop no longer stops anyone from eating their popcorn, the filmmakers continue to in this tradition by injecting their thoughtful look at the restoration of love with crude visuals and a complete lack of regard for God and biblical truths.

Note to everyone in Hollywood: God goes by one name, you can drop the damn.
