In this action packed, romantic comedy, Harrison Ford plays Quinn Harris, a perfectly happy pilot flying cargo between islands in the South Pacific. That is, till he agrees to fly New York editor Robin Monroe(Anne Heche) from her vacation on a small, tropical island to Tahiti on an emergency business assignment. She has to leave her fiance Frank(David Schwimmer)back on the island, but he is well cared for by one of the native women. When bad weather forces Quinn and Robin to crash land on a rugged deserted island, they must survive the best way they can. To make matters worse, some modern day pirates land on the island and are determined to eliminate them. The adventures of Quinn and Robin are fun and hilarious and naturally they become romantically attracted to each other. Both are very winsome, likeable characters and this film will likely do well at the box office, particularly among the young dating set.

The overall story line of this film is fairly decent and it has no unusually crude incidents in it. However, there are a number of comical, sexually oriented incidents and quips. And Robin's finance becomes involved with one of the attractive native performers and sex is implied when he wakes up in her bed one morning. He later comically confesses that what he did was wrong. Even though Quinn quietly proposes sex to Robin on the deserted island, she declines. But near nudity is commonplace with dancers in skimpy costumes, a sensuous woman in her underwear and Robin in low cut blouses and see through T shirts. In all the action, there's lots of fighting, shooting and chase threats, but it is not excessive. But the use of many regular profanities and obscenities by Quinn and Robin is gratuitous and offensive. It's really disgusting that Hollywood is obsessed with trashing up most films these days with foul language.
