James Dobsons FOCUS ON THE FAMILY organization has recently produced and released this very clever, professional animated video for children. It is available now in some secular as well as many Christian bookstores and video stores. Created by Bob Gardner in vivid color, it tells the story of a likable young tadpole frog named Tad who is being bullied by a big mean frog and others who are making fun of him. But there is a championship frog-jumping contest coming up and Tad sees this as his chance to be somebody. Trouble is, he cant jump. Still, one of his frog buddies is determined to get him into shape to win the contest. He receives encouragement from friends including an elderly lady frog who says that God looks on the inside of a person, not his accomplishments, and admonishes him to love his enemies and do good to them. His vivacious cousin from the south, Rosita Froguita, dances and sings a song saying that God loves us all and has big plans for us. So Tad enters the contest and, though it doesnt come out as he planned, he does end up being the hero of Hoppers Landing. This fun 25-minute family entertainment video is full of clever humor and dialogue, and has lots of lively songs and music. Its aimed primarily at children 3 to 8 years of age, but Mom and Dad will get a kick out of this one too.
