It's been a year since Jim (Jason Biggs) and his friends graduated from high school after struggling with raging hormones that controlled their every thought in 1999's AMERICAN PIE. Surely in college they will get over their sophomoric attitude about sex. Wrong! Back home after their freshman year the gang rents a house on the lake, consumed with spending the summer honing their sexual skills. Instead, their clumsy efforts to seduce girls result in one disaster after another. Jim renews his friendship with Michelle (Alyson Hannigan), the geek he slept with after the senior prom. He asks her to teach him how to please girls so when Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth) returns from Europe he won't disappoint her. AMERICAN PIE 2 may be another box office hit. Hopefully, when these perennial adolescents reach their 50s, we won't be subjected to AMERICAN PIE 35.
While Jim is waiting for his parents to pick him up at the dorm on the last day of his freshman year, a coed pounces on him so they can have goodbye sex although they had barely spoken to each other. Jim's dad (Eugene Levy) walks in on the copulating couple, amused and proud that his son has become a "man." Crude sexual humor never stops. Scenes include girls pretending they are lesbians by kissing and caressing each other, phone sex, a guy urinating off a balcony onto the face of another who thinks it's champagne, and Jim confusing super glue with a cream and getting his hand permanently stuck in a very awkward place. Inedible filling such as 57 obscenities, disgusting bathroom humor, breast nudity, group sex, a teenager having sex with his friend's mother, and teenage drinking complete this nasty mud pie.
