Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday MPAA Rating: R Entertainment: +1/2 Content: -4

JASON GOES TO HELL is about as bad as cinema can get, and the "Final" label is merely a marketing device. The villain will return, for sure, as long as there's money to be made. Although this film is rated "R," its producers know that the under-17 crowd can and will get in. In the beginning of this "final" film, Jason Vorhees, the machete-wielding, hockey mask-wearing, invincible killer, is blown to bits. His heart, however, is still alive, and holds within it a not-so-cute little demon-lizard. This grotesque lizard jumps from body to body; from the coroner to a policeman, to the heroine's boyfriend, to another policeman, to the heroine's dead mother, finally ending up as the hockey goalie with bad skin who gets pulled into Hell by the minions of the Evil One himself. Even Freddy Krueger's razor-blade-fingered hand makes a cameo appearance at the end. The plot, the script and the acting are atrocious. This reviewer saw the film in a mall theater where half the mostly-male audience was under-age and unaccompanied.

This exercise in celluloid filth contains teenage premarital sex, female breast nudity, full male and female rear nudity; graphic, bloody violence, shooting, stabbings, impalings, mutilations, burned human flesh. Dialogue includes over forty obscenities and many regular profanities. Jason's condition results from the practice of demonology and witchcraft. This film should be avoided. Write the producers. Tell your local theater owners that you don't want this trash anywhere near your kids, and exhort them to have the conviction to enforce the MPAA ratings and protect the children of your community.
