This action comedy continues the exploits of Detroit policeman Axel Foley played by Eddie Murphy. This time Axel goes to Beverly Hills to track down a gang of counterfeiters headed by master criminal Ellis Dewald. They operate a high tech amusement park known as Wonder World as a front for their illegal operations. The action never ceases as the gang and Murphy battle it out on the rides in the park as well as the operating tunnels below the park. Murphy is aided by his police friend Billie Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and Janice (Theresa Randle), his love interest. This sequel will appeal primarily to Murphy action fans, and its incessant shooting and fighting tend to become boring after a while.

BEVERLY HILLS COP 3 maintains Murphy's reputation as one of Hollywood's foremost f- and s-word kings. Over forty of these obscenities are spewed out rapid fire along with several profanities. Shooting and fighting seldom slow down with many men gunned down at close range and others brutally beaten in gang fights. Of course, all this is accompanied by massive destruction of autos, buildings and other property. Except for some revealing dresses, though, the film is almost devoid of sexual content. In the end, Axel defeats the bad guys and justice is done, but only after the audience has endured endless battles and much foul language.
